Head of the River
The Head of the River rowing regatta takes place in Penrith, New South Wales every March. It is the culmination of the GPS rowing season for senior crews. All 8 GPS schools send their crews to Head of the River.The Head of the River has a long history, being over 100 years old. St Ignatius College dominated the 2004 Head of the River winning all but 1 of the races. Sydney Grammar School won the other race.
