Grammatical conjunction

A conjunction is a part of speech that connects two words, phrases, or clauses together.

Examples of conjuctions are:

• for
• and
• nor
• but
• or
• yet
• so
• and/or (not in general use)

The first seven produce the mnemonic FANBOYS.
