The narrative technique help drawing a parting picture, the parting of mother and her newborn child. But I put my whole pleasure on one line: The mother hands over the baby. It is as clean as a guillotine strike.

I'm so glad that I started investigating all the nooks of your blog. Finding this here was like finding a treasure. When I read your work, your language is almost indistiguishable from pure reality, it's as if there are no margins. . . the words fill the whole page as these women's lives must be so achingly full of emotion. The power, the experiences, of the people in your writing is incredible. It's with pleasure, and a little fear (it's that shiv) that I visit your blog each day.

Jennifer,
I feel this beyond-words. You have a gift for animating the still dark places.

I'm going to see if I have luck adding this to StumbleUpon, having joined recently.... :)
