“Being Alone” by Katalyn Louis Parks
Alone.
Love dwindles in the mist,
That issues from a broken heart.
A sense of loss and being lost,
Although never are we apart.
Vague senses of home and warmth,
But security in knowing you’re lost,
As love mightn’t find you again,
At least not at your cost.
