Stewards of Spirit: Awakening in the Light of Rachel's Ballads

Following is an excerpt from Stewards of Spirit:  Awakening in the Light of Rachel’s Ballads – a book about awakening to one’s authenticity using ecologic tenets as guidance.

Nature’s goal is a sustained state of dynamic equilibrium; your goal is a sustained progression along the ever-evolving expression of your highest level of authenticity.  Nature has self-regulators to help it attain its optimal states of being; so do you.  You have your spirit, ego, emotions, intuition and imagination that, when holistically residing and interacting in harmony, help you to appropriately adapt and adjust in response to perceived obstacles impeding your way.  In the face of challenges, you can consciously reach for new perspectives, new feelings, and new trains of thought – all of which can help you overcome difficulty and keep you moving steadily forward within your never-ending cycle of transformative growth.  Indeed, the same three sustainability principles described by Miller not only apply once a system has achieved its highest state of being, but also apply while the system is “en route.”  The first truth about ecosystems is that they primarily use renewable solar energy, rather than buried fossil fuels.  Everything has energy.  Every member of the Community of Self has energy.  Earlier, I identified the spirit as the primary energy source of self.  I also stated that the spirit is indigenous to the Cosmos.  Your spirit is the infinite Energy Source.  Your spirit is God within you.  Therefore, your spirit is your greatest source for pure, renewable energy.  Do not look for energy within the buried recesses of the mundane.  Look up.  Draw upon the infinite.
